The current aequa lease goes through end of August 2025.
Our building owner has said we can propose a Nachmieter to take over the space. There is no guarantee they will accept this, but seeing as we took over as a Nachmieter from the previous tenants quite easily, there is a reasonable chance this can work out.
Ideally, the space would be taken over by another abolitionist, internationalist, anticolonial and trans feminist group or project, who could continue to make the space available for community organizing in these and intersecting movements. We would like to prioritize collectives with a high Global Majority / Global South membership, especially those with other intersections (class, passport, gender, sexuality, line of work, etc.) which might make it more difficult to get access to a business lease here in Germany.
It’s a great location, near the Osloerstr. U-Bahn and tram station, not far from Ufer Studios.

About the space:
The space is a ground-floor entrance (glass door) with a big glass windows facing the street. There is a second entrance from the main hallway of the building which enters into the hallway in the middle of the space. The basement storage space also has two entrances: one from the building general cellar entrance, as well as a second one within the space itself.
